Sticks and Stones

Curling and golf go hand in hand.  They are Scotland’s two best gifts to sport, and for a brief time each year both can be played in the same day!

Join fellow curling and golf enthusiasts (and ‘wannabes’) on Sept 28 for a day of sport.

Start the day at K-W Granite club for two 4-end games and end with 9 holes of golf at Rockway golf course in Kitchener.

Throughout the day enjoy fun golf/curling themed scoring and activities, some of which take skill out of the equation, so this is a great event to introduce people to either or both sports.

Top teams in three categories will be awarded prizes, but everyone wins when we play our favourite sports!

$60 includes, curling, golf and lunch

Morning: K-W  Granite Club, 99 Seagram Drive, Waterloo

9am – Registration and ice available for lessons – golf tee times assigned

10 am – Game 1 (4 ends)

12 pm – Game 2 (4 ends)

Lunch: 1:30 pm – Fajita lunch catered by Mambella’s at KW Granite

Afternoon: Rockway Golf Course, 625 Rockway Dr, Kitchener

3:30 – 5:00 pm – teams tee off every 10 minutes

• • (some teams will have extra time off in the afternoon, you can use this time to socialize, warm up on the course practice green, or whatever you wish )

6pm onward – join us on the patio for socializing and prizes.  Bar and dinner menu available.
