Intermediate Skills Development Clinic
Instructor ratio 1:8. Maximum 32 participants
Are you a club curler with more than three years of experience looking to improve?
Do you want to fix your slide?
Become a better sweeper?
Learn a bit more about strategy?
This half-day clinic will be led by club member and current Ontario Men's champion, Sam Mooibroek. Delivery analysis, sweeping, strategy, and communication are some of the topics that will be covered. This clinic is best suited to curlers with tree or more years of experience; curlers will be grouped on sheets by years of experience.
The clinic includes three hours of on-ice instruction, analysis, and game feedback as well as one hour of off-ice discussion of strategy.
You must be a KWGC member to participate.
This is not a Learn to Curl Program or appropriate for people that deliver with a stick.
Founders Bonspiel 2026
KW 2026 Founders Bonspiel
Join us for the inaugural Founders Bonspiel celebrating the first 99 years of curling history of the KW Granite Club. This bonspiel will appeal to daytime curlers and will be an Open Recreational spiel with team registration.
Draw 1 will have games at 8:30 am (6 end) and Noon (8 end). Draw 2 games are at 10:15 am (6 end) and 2:15 pm (8 end).
Coffee and snacks upon arrival. Lunch will be provided and follows the first game for each draw. Snacks to follow Game 2.
Price is $240 per team entry (including HST) payable at registration.
All players will receive a prize with cash prizes for the top 3 teams in each draw.

Spend Valentine's Day with friends and family at the KW Granite Club. The format is open, which means no gender restrictions; we just want you to have fun!

Early Draw:
Check in: 8:30 to 9:00 am - 1st Game starts: 9:00 am
Lunch: 11:15 – 1:15 pm
2nd Game starts: 1:30 pm
Snacks and prizes: 3:30 pm
Late Draw:
Check in: 10:45 to 11:15 am - 1st Game starts: 11:15 am
Lunch: 1:30 – 3:30 pm
2nd Game starts: 3:45 pm
Snacks and prizes: 5:45 pm
Draw times may change. If so, you will be notified by email.
Team registration only. Any interested individuals or couples, please contact the office and we may be able to put a team together.
Youth who are 12 years and under must wear a helmet.
