The Jingle Bell Jitney was a great success. Much fun was had by all with many good comments. We had a full slate of 12 teams including some guests trying curling for the first time! Thanks to Jason Beierling and Ashley Falconer for helping out. And many thanks to Lorna and Martin for finding us some donated prizes from our generous sponsors Schlegel Villages, Morty’s Pub, and Waterloo Brewing.
The prize table had 19 prizes, plus turkeys which were won in Turkey Draws on ice. Our generous curlers donated $150 for the Food Bank which will provide 450 meals to needy families in our community!!
It was so nice to host this event for our members after a year off, and we hope to continue the tradition in years to come.
